Wednesday, the ads come out in your local newspaper for all the Black Friday sales.

If you're brave enough to go out in the cold and fight the crowds, you might save a lot of money this year.

Here's a secret money-saving deal you might not have heard about.

Black Friday is actually a great day to buy a car.

Why is Black Friday a good day to buy a car?

"We feel everyday's a good day to buy a car. But the manufacturers put more incentives and push new cars for the fourth quarter of the year. Black Friday is one of the busiest shopping days of the year for retail stores. Husbands dropping off their wives early in the morning need something to do," says Dave Johnson with Dene Lambkin Honda and Hyundai.

You'll have to check your own dealership or favorite car company for the specific incentives, but some include zero percent financing on new cars.

Dave Johnson with Dene Lambkin Honda and Hyundai in Quincy tells KHQA you also can get great deals on used cars.

Plus, a lot of dealers want to sell their remaining 09 models to make way for the 2010 models.

Johnson reminds everyone an 09 model is still a brand-new car, and the warranty doesn't kick in until you buy it.
